Manish Kumar Rai is a graduate and post-graduate in Political Science from Delhi University. In addition to academic and professional growth, Manish has made significant contributions to various social and environmental causes, including, publishing more than 20 articles on political and environmental topics, planting over 100 trees as part of an eco-friendly initiative and teaching over 1,000 students, sharing knowledge and fostering educational growth in the community.
“I was looking for a comprehensive yet insightful platform to learn the intricacies of politics and how public policies are formed and implemented. Hence, this fellowship aligned well with my interest. The fellowship has been an invaluable opportunity for me to build my understanding of how politics function and hone soft skills that are required in today’s time and age. Apart from that, interactive sessions and group discussions were the highlight of the fellowship, making it more engaging and giving a different lens to a situation adding on to our existing scope of knowledge. The curriculum comprises real world political issues and easy to grasp conceptualisation.”
Harleen is a passionate and committed individual whose drive to make a meaningful impact is evident in both her professional and personal endeavours. Born in Punjab and based in Delhi, Harleen completed her graduation in Law from IP University. She is currently serving as a full-time fellow with Teach for India, where she leads a classroom of 35 enthusiastic 4th graders, nurturing their potential and inspiring a love for learning.
Apart from this, Harleen has written and published several research papers and articles on law enforcement topics. Her interests go beyond academics, she is an avid cafe hopper and an adventurer who loves to be close to nature.

Geeta Ingle, a Political Researcher at Praneta Political Consultancy and a graduate with a Master’s in Development from Azim Premji University, has always been driven by a passion for leveraging research to create meaningful political strategies that promote social change. Her expertise lies in critical analysis, impact evaluation, and strategy development, and her work focuses on understanding the intricacies of political systems to drive impactful change.
Prior to working with Praneta Political Consulting, she has done extensive Research on Palus-Kadegaon constituency during the devastating times of floods. Geeta Ingle combines sharp political insight with a deep understanding of community dynamics. Such experiences shape her perspective on effective political strategy, underscoring the importance of empathy, accessibility, and genuine service in leadership.
“I was initially preparing for the UPSC, but I also recognized the importance of having a backup plan. If I don’t succeed in the UPSC exams, I want to build a career as a political strategist. This fellowship offers an opportunity to gain a structured, formulaic approach to political strategy, it also helped me with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue my ambitions. I learned practical methods and insights from experienced professionals that gave a kickstart to my career as a strategist.”
Kartik being an impact enthusiast has contributed positively to his community through his initiative Gaon Vachan Katta project, which aimed to collect and distribute books to rural schools. Additionally, he had an article published in Loksatta, one of the most well-known newspapers in Maharashtra.

Danish has been working as a political analyst for the past year, specialising in data-driven insights and strategy for political campaigns. With expertise in survey design, sentiment analysis, and utilising tools like Power BI to create impactful visualisations, Danish plays a key role in helping campaigns translate complex data into actionable decisions. His ability to analyse voter sentiment and develop data strategies has been instrumental in shaping the direction of political campaigns, ensuring that decision-makers have the insights they need to optimize their efforts.

In the past, Krishna has been a part of the Congress Fellowship Program. During his time in the fellowship program, Krishna Singh took on a variety of roles, including video editor, social media manager, and campaign participant for Facebook and WhatsApp. He also managed Meta Ad accounts and gained hands-on experience with several AI tools, significantly enhancing his digital media skillset.
Krishna is the type of person who thrives on curiosity, teamwork, and adaptability. He doesn’t just learn from experiences—he grows from them, embracing each challenge with a mindset that everything is part of the bigger journey.
“I was motivated to join this fellowship to engage directly with people at the grassroots level and understand the challenges they face, especially in rural areas. The focus during the fellowship was on examining growth and development at the panchayat level, as well as understanding the practical implications of government policies. I intend to apply these insights to my future research and projects to better align academic findings with the real-world needs of communities.”
Ravi Shankar is currently a Junior Research Fellow at Jan Suraaj and has been a Consultant at the Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA). He holds a Master’s degree in Economics, specialising in World Economy, from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Hons.) from the University of Delhi.

As a Data Analyst and experienced Power BI Developer, Jasim specialises in transforming raw data into interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Python. His expertise aims to drive insights and improve efficiency.
Jasim is known among his friends for being able to predict voting behaviour based on people’s favourite snacks. Apart from his analysis skills and humour he is an SQL ninja who has been involved in writing an incredibly complex SQL query.
“I’m fond of interacting with People and like listening to them. Good at convincing people and persuading them easily. I found this platform to give me an opportunity towards my field in which I’m good at. Hence, the fellowship was a fruitful experience with lots of knowledge and giving a different lens to view things from when it comes to dealing with people, thus leading to upgrading my existing knowledge around the domain of politics.”
Deependra is a versatile individual with a strong academic and extracurricular background. He currently serves as the Table Tennis Convenor at Jawaharlal Nehru University and is pursuing a Certificate of Proficiency in Sanskrit Computational Linguistics from the same institution. Deependra holds a B.A. in BAG from IGNOU and completed his schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. His diverse experience spans leadership roles, academic exploration, and competitive sports, reflecting his multifaceted abilities and interests.
Deependra has also made a mark in sports, representing his institution at several high-level events. He competed at the AIU North Zonal Inter-University competition, where over 100 universities participated. Additionally, he was selected twice to represent Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at the National level from the Patna Region. Beyond competing, Deependra also demonstrated his leadership skills as the Team Manager for Jawaharlal Nehru University's Table Tennis team during the IIT Delhi Annual Sports Meet.

Warishah is a recent graduate from Delhi University with a degree in History Honours. With a deep passion for understanding cultural and social dynamics, she is particularly interested in how history influences contemporary communities. Combining an academic background in history with a commitment to making a cultural and social impact, Warishah aims to bridge the gap between theory and practise through the field of public policy. She believes that policy-making, when approached with empathy and strategy, has the power to transform high-level ideals into meaningful, real-world change.
Under the college's research society, Warishah authored the book Rediscovering Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi), now available on Amazon. She has led numerous heritage and food walks in Delhi, offering participants the chance to explore the city's rich history and diverse culinary culture. Outside of academic pursuits, Warishah is an avid lover of food and enjoys exploring new dining spots across the city.

Nitesh has represented his university at the National Rounds of the Laiden-Sarin International Moot Competition (2019). He has also written and published articles on trending topics in reputed blogs, journals, and books.

“Pursuing a career in the Political sphere has been my aim and I have been building myself in this direction. Attaining this fellowship of People for Tomorrow has upgraded my skillset much higher. Getting an insight of the election process, campaigning and working of political machinery on ground level has helped me gain valuable knowledge and experience which will help me understand better and therefore work towards my goal in a more efficient manner. This programme has given me valuable insight on campaigns, manifestos, people needs and desires, customisation of programmes, use of AI-based sampling etc. Mentors support and group discussion gave me insights of other participants and collectively came out with innovative ideas.”
Atul hails from Bhagalpur, Bihar, and completed his schooling from DAV Public School. After finishing school, he pursued his undergraduate studies in B.Com Hons. followed by a postgraduate degree in Sociology. His academic background, combined with significant work with several NGOs, has laid a strong foundation for his ambition to build a successful career in socio-political organisations.
“I want to work in the social service sector and my friend suggested this fellowship. I joined this fellowship of People for Tomorrow to develop the sense of political analysis and during my fellowship I learned the ground reality of how elections should be managed and also the understanding of management of booth, campaign and masses. My fellowship experience was outstanding as I was new in this domain but I learned a lot and successfully completed my fellowship with large wings. I would like to thank my mentor for his constant support and guidance throughout the journey.”
Ankita being passionate about social welfare did her graduation in Sociology from Delhi University.
Outside of this fellowship, Ankita is a poetry enthusiast, contributing works to platforms like DU Magazine. She is also dedicated to social causes, having worked to support orphanages and assist hundreds of elderly people in need.
“My motivation behind joining the fellowship was to understand the working of policy makers who make important decisions that impact the lives of the common people. I desire to work more closely with people on a larger scale in various sectors including health, education and employment. I want to make a bigger impact and reach a wider range of communities and try to bring positive changes in their lives. This fellowship was a great exposure to the its and bits of political world and helped me immensely in my learnings ”
Sreyasi belongs from Bengal and has pursued both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biotechnology from Adamas University, Kolkata. She is currently a Fellow with Teach For India in Pune, Maharashtra, where she teaches Social Studies to students in grades 4 to 7 at a school in Pimpri.
Sreyashi is a fun-loving and empathetic person. As per Sreyasi, one of her most rewarding experiences was working in her local panchayat area to raise awareness about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Sai Ram was a Fellow at the Congress Fellowship Program, focused on driving grassroots engagement and impactful campaigns. His role there involved developing strategies and building connections with local communities to amplify key messages effectively. Beside this, he has managed various projects across multiple regions while navigating through 100+ community meetings.
“I got to know about this fellowship through one of my colleagues and was very intrigued by the whole concept. I found this fellowship to be a stepping stone into building my knowledge around how the politics on ground truly functions from the beginning till the end. It has helped me in learning required concepts and skill sets hence brushing up my existing experience in the political domain.
